The REAL beer tent season in WNY officially begins when THE STRANGERS make their 2nd visit in a row to the Lancaster Village Independence Day Festival on Thursday, July 3rd ....join us for some ice cold beers in the beer garden to help kick off the birthday bash of the good ol' USA from 7-10:30pm at the corner of Broadway & Central Ave.......
We're taking the 4th off, though Mitch will be at the Friendship Festival filling in with the Boys of Summer at the Erie Canal Harbor from 5:30-6:30pm.....
Saturday, July 5th takes us north to Lockport for a private bash......
Wednesday, July 9th, we'll be making a rare weeknight trip to the beach----maybe that willl break our "Curse of the Clouds" at SOUTH SHORE BEACH CLUB, 8966 Old Lakeshore Road, Angola....rain or shine, it's still a great party when we're there....THE STRANGERS do 2 sets starting around 8-8:30 pm......
Friday, July 11th marks our 3rd year in a row at the biggest beer tent in WNY at the QUEEN OF HEAVEN CARNIVAL in West Seneca at the corner of Seneca St. and Mill Rd......You, us, and 3000 of our closest friends have helped to smash the Friday night beer sales record for 2 years straight (we had the all time night for 24 hours last year....lol) , and we're looking to topple the all time huge record night this year again!!!!
The tent starts-a-rockin' at 7pm until the kegs are empty!!
Saturday, July 12th we'll be takin' it to the streets of WNY for the 2nd Annual "Rock the Block Festival" in Cheektovegas.....It's on Creek View Drive, off North Creek, which is off Jerry's favorite street, Dick Rd....It's a BYOB Fest with THE STRANGERS from 6:30-10:30pm
Then on Sunday, July 13, we wrap up the hectic pace before our summer hiatus with another trip to the beach----85 and sunny for once (at least we hope so) at
SOUTH SHORE BEACH CLUB for one of our regular Sunday afternoon extravaganzas from 4pm until ????
Thanks to all of you that came out last week to Dock at The Bay and South Shore...we got lucky on Saturday at The Dock---it rained during our 1st break only, and then the dance floor was packed all night, and the big storms at least stopped by the time we hit the South Shore so that we could still rock the waves with a great crowd!
